Anaireseis: The Project «Refutations in English»
is a counterexample to the mainstream culture
Anaireseis: The Project «Refutations the exact translation in English» is a political – cultural project organized by NAR for the Communist Liberation and the Communist Liberation youth in Greece, which includes the annual Festival, the annual Camping, the magazine, and political – cultural Clubs in the largest cities of Greece. Through this project, we seek to establish a close and permanent connection with the youth and the workers, to build a new stream of politicization and radicalism. One of collective political action in order to assert the modern needs of the workers and the youth, in terms of education, work, rights.
The ideological and cultural battle is one of the most critical issues of our time. That is why we continue with the same strength and passion for decades. We deeply believe that the overthrow of the dominant policy and even more the revolutionary, anti-capitalist struggle pass through the creation of a new current in education, culture, ideology, especially concerning the new generation.
Through Anaireseis: The Project, we intend to contribute to the creation of a distinct cultural current.

The biggest appointment of the Project is the Anaireseis Festival. The political – cultural summer meeting, which takes part all over Greece.
A rich political programme, cultural events and artistic diversity accompany the festival days in each city, as a collective process of subversive cultural and political expression. Concerts, with dozens of musicians addressing oppressed youth, with a radical political slant. Before the concerts, there are numerous talks, events and workshops, addressing various issues, from the central political scene, to the environment, war, gender and more.
For over 30 years the Festival has been embraced by hundreds of thousands of young people, workers, people active in the workers’ – people’s movement, and consistently, militants from abroad have participated in the Festival events.
During the pandemic, we rearranged the established format of the festival and went out into the squares and neighborhoods, proving that Anaireseis: The Project can adapt to all circumstances in order to express a window of youthful hope and carve out paths in search of answers, and now we have returned to the familiar nationwide festivals!

political & cultural centres (clubs)
At the core of the project is the Anaireseis Political and Cultural Centres (clubs). With a focus on intervention in the fields of theory, culture, history and politics, we hope that the Anaireseis Centre will become a permanent point of reference in the city centre, open to the creation of a culture of emancipation of modern man and the articulation of a liberating response to the issues generated by the capitalist crisis!
The Club of Anaireseis aspires to be a multifaceted process, a space open to the search, information, opinion and dialogue, innovative action, of all those who seek a different culture and a way of life that promotes the values of collectivity.
The Anaireseis Club operates daily in Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Ioannina and Chania, always with the ambition to open in other cities in Greece.

An important part of the Project is also the magazine of Anaireseis. It is the printed effort of our organisation to contribute to the political and cultural quests of the time, to deal with issues of concern to the forces of the radical left, to communicate collective concerns and quests in the world of youth and labour.

The magazine and the publications we publish can be obtained from the clubs of the Anaireseis in Athens, Patras, Thessaloniki, Ioannina and Chania, at the local events of the Anaireseis and of course from the members of NAR (New Left Current) for the Communist Liberation and the Communist Liberation youth, all over Greece.

The season for the Project closes with the Anaireseis Camping. We know that the need for affordable vacations is pervasive among youth, especially for those who work in the summer and have only a few days of escape. Camping Anaireseis is offered to those who are looking for an alternative, affordable and quality escape from the demanding daily routine, leaving stress and fatigue behind. We seek to contrast an image of our collectively shaped future therefore we seek to reinforce aspects of self-organisation, solidarity and collectivity, especially when holidays now seem to be a privilege.
For 10 days every summer, Anaireseis Camping offers a complete holiday, with concerts, events events and summer mood.
